Layouts & Displays
The Club has two main model railroad layout displays. The HO scale layout is world-renown, and takes up most of the approximately 11,000 square foot building space. It is being built in stages that has and will take many decades to complete (note that a model railroad may be complete, but it is never "finished"). The completed section is 40 ft. by 40 ft., and the expansion is approximately 60 ft. by 80 ft.
The other layout is in N scale, an around-the-wall double-decked line with a peninsula section. It's housed in a room approximately 30 ft. by 27 ft. It features many highly detailed scenes, including a steel mill, a large freight yard, an industrial section and a port.
In addition to these two model displays, the Club also houses a temporary Garden railroad ("G gauge") layout, as well as a Lionel® O-27 layout. Other displays are planned for our gallery area.
Below are a few photos of our handiwork.
